This should be fixed in 0.1.11 and current GIT, could you please retest and close if it works?

I guess the file is ok as you've used it in other WMs with success, however, what is the output of as it can very well be issues with different colour depths:

xdpyinfo |grep 'depth of root window'
15:04:05

pekwm --info:

pekwm: version 0.1.11 Built on Mon Jun 8 16:26:35 GMT-8 2009 features: XShape Xinerama Xft image-xpm image-jpeg image-png Xrandr menus harbour

file www48.pg: www48.png: PNG image data, 48 x 48, 8-bit/color RGBA, non-interlaced

hope that helps.

Could you please provide me with the output from pekwm --info and what colour depth you are using. I did some changes to the handling of transparent icons which are only in 0.1.11 which should help if you are using 15 or 16bpp.
